Argan oil is derived from the fruits of the argan tree. Honey-coloured Argan oil is rich in essential fatty acids that prevent the skin from drying out and stimulate cell renewal.
Lithothamnion is an alga that has a highly calcified, purplish-red, sometimes bright pink, thallus that forms several "branches". Fixed on pebbles, rocks or shells in its juvenile stage, its "branches" detach themselves to lead an unfixed life. Once dead, the lithothamnion takes a white-yellowish colour (due to limestone) and looks like a
stone. It is the crushed lithothamnion that is used in Santémer soap
